Interstate Bakeries sells Dorchester, Mass., Oakland, Calif., facilities for $6.75 million

Pittsburgh, April 13 - Interstate Bakeries Corp. obtained court approval to sell its Dorchester, Mass., and Oakland, Calif., facilities, according to Wednesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri.

The Dorchester facility was sold to Tenean Properties, LLC for $3.55 million.

The Oakland property was sold to Madison Park Financial Corp. for $3.2 million.

Interstate, a Kansas City, Mo., bakery operator, filed for Chapter 11 protection on Sept. 22, 2004. Its case number is 04-45814.
