Madison Investment Trust buys $6.13 million claim against Interstate Bakeries

Pittsburgh, Feb. 24 - Madison Investment Trust - Series 17 bought GE Commercial Finance Business Property Corp.'s $6.13 million claim against Interstate Bakeries Corp., according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri.

Interstate, a Kansas City, Mo., bakery operator, filed for Chapter 11 protection on Sept. 22, 2004. Its case number is 04-45814.
