By Jennifer Lanning Drey

Portland, Ore., Sept. 11 - Interstate Bakeries Corp. obtained court approval for the $4.15 million sale of a Los Angeles bakery property to California resident Steve Lee on Thursday, according to documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri.

Lee outbid Simantov Eshaghian's stalking horse bid of $4 million at an Aug. 22 auction.

The Kansas City, Mo., bakery operator filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 22, 2004. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-45814.
