Mast Capital Management ups passive stake to 14.7% in International Wire

Philadelphia, Dec. 31 - Mast Capital Management, LLC increased its investment to 14.7% in International Wire Group Inc. as of Dec. 17, according to an SC 13G/A filing.
That represents a passive stake of 1,463,825 shares.
Those holdings are up from the passive stake of 8%, or 791,652 shares, that the company reported owning on Dec. 31, 2007.
Mast Capital initially reported a passive stake of 7.58%, or 758,000 shares, on Dec. 31, 2006.
International Wire is a Camden, N.Y.-based manufacturer and marketer of wire products.
