Mast Credit nearly doubles stake in International Wire

Philadelphia, Dec. 24 - Mast Credit Opportunities I Master Fund, Ltd. nearly doubled its investment, reporting a 14.7% stake in International Wire Group, Inc. as of Dec. 17, according to an SC 13G/A filing.

That represents a passive stake of 1,463,825 shares.

Those holdings are up from the passive stake of 8%, or 791,652 shares, that the company reported owning on Dec. 31, 2007, according to another SC 13G/A filing.

Mast Credit initially reported an investment of 7.58%, or 758,000 shares, on Dec. 31, 2006, according to a SC 13G filing.

International Wire is a Camden, N.Y., wire products manufacturer.
