International Shipholding reports $2.04 million net loss for September

Pittsburgh, Oct. 21 – International Shipholding Corp. reported a $2.04 million net loss for September on $14.37 million in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In comparison, International Shipholding posted a $1.51 million net loss for August on $15.81 million in revenue.

The company had $14.53 million in unrestricted cash and cash equivalents as of Sept. 30, up from $8.44 million at the end of August.

Mobile, Ala.-based International Shipholding provides maritime transportation services through its subsidiaries. The company filed bankruptcy on Aug. 31 under Chapter 11 case number 16-12220.
