Fitch rates International Petroleum Investment AA

Fitch Ratings said it assigned the International Petroleum Investment Co. of Abu Dhabi long-term local- and foreign-currency issuer default ratings of AA and a short-term issuer default ratings of F1+.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings are aligned with Abu Dhabi's sovereign ratings, Fitch said.

The company operates under the direct guidance and oversight of its board of directors, four of whom are members of the Supreme Petroleum Council, which formulates and implements Abu Dhabi's petroleum policy, the agency said.
