International Coal shareholders purchase close to 5 million additional shares

Charlotte, N.C., Nov. 25 - V. Prem Watsa, 1109519 Ontario Ltd. and their affiliates reported the purchase of an additional 4,994,400 shares of International Coal Group, Inc. in an amended schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own approximately 26 million shares or 17% of the Scott Depot, W.Va., coal producer.
