Intermet to start roadshow Tuesday for $175 million seven-year notes

St. Louis, Mo., May 23 - Intermet Corp. will start roadshowing an offering of $175 million of senior notes due 2009 on Tuesday, according to a syndicate source.

The roadshow is set to conclude on June 7.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Banc of America Securities are the joint bookrunners. Scotia Capital, Suntrust Robinson Humphries, Banc One Capital Markets, Comerica Investments and ABN Amro are co-managers.

The Rule 144A notes are non-callable for four years.

Proceeds will be used to repay bank debt.

The Troy, Mich.-based company manufactures structural components for the automotive industry.
