Gamco, Gabelli buy 203,700 shares of Intermec

Charlotte, N.C., March 13 - A group of Intermec, Inc. investors led by Gamco Asset Management Inc. and Gabelli Funds, LLC bought a net 203,700 shares of the company's stock in a series of buy and sell transactions between Jan. 14 and March 12.

The shares were priced from $8.80 to $13.30 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Gamco and Gabelli beneficially own 5,122,898 shares, or 8.25%, of the Everett, Wash.-based company.

Intermec manufactures automated identification and data collection and other mobile computing devices.
