Gamco-led investors buy shares of Intermec

Charlotte, N.C., March 26 - A group of Intermec, Inc. investors led by Gamco Asset Management Inc. and Gabelli Funds, LLC bought 1,436,704 shares of the company's stock between Jan. 16 and March 2 priced from $20.74 to $25.48 per share, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Gamco Asset Management owns 2,831,915 shares, or 4.73%, of the company's stock.

Intermec, based in Everett, Wash., manufactures automated identification and data collection and other mobile computing devices.
