By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, May 7 - Interfaith Medical Center, Inc.'s May 12 plan of reorganization confirmation hearing has been adjourned to May 23, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The hearings on the U.S. Trustee's motion for appointment of a Chapter 11 trustee for Interfaith's case and the company's motion for revising its debtor-in-possession financing agreement will also now be held on May 23.

Additional hearing time is available for May 30, if necessary, the filing said.

Interfaith, a Brooklyn, N.Y., multi-site health-care system operator, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 2, 2012. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-48226.
