Interfaith Medical Center's unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Dec. 13 - Interfaith Medical Center, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors has been appointed by Region 2 U.S. trustee Tracy Hope Davis, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The committee members are Shane Reed of Medline Industries, Inc. of Mundelein, Ill.; Timothy D. Wells of 1199SEIU National Benefit Fund and 1199 SEIU Healthcare Industry Pension Fund, based in New York; Anna Gutsin of Health Services Retirement Plan of New York; Louise Sollazzo of New York State Nurses Association, based in New York; Brad Hamman of Sodexo Operations, LLC of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; Jasmine Samuel, representing Tia and Lennard Samuel, care of Fitzgerald & Fitzgerald, PC of Yonkers, N.Y.; and Ellen L. Flowers as special guardian of Drita Manuka.

Interfaith, a Brooklyn, N.Y., multi-site health care system operator, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 2. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-48226.
