Interface $175 million eight-year notes talked at 10½%-10¾%

St. Louis, Mo., Jan. 10 - Interface Inc.'s $175 million of senior notes due 2010 are talked at a yield of 10½% to 10¾%, according to syndicate officials.

Pricing is set for Friday morning, according to the officials.

Salomon Smith Barney and Wachovia Securities are joint books on the Rule 144A, non-callable notes. The syndicate also includes SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Capital Markets, and Fleet Securities.

Moody's Investors Service rates the notes B2 while Standard & Poor's rates them BB.
