Moody's lowers three Colombia companies to negative

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the ratings of Interconexion Electrica SA ESP, Empresas Publicas de Medellin SA ESP and Enel Americas SA.

The agency also said it changed the outlook on these three issuers to negative from stable.

This outlook revision follows the agency's recent rating action on the government of Colombia. The country's ratings were affirmed and its outlook was revised to negative from stable.

The outlook revision on the companies' reflects their strong linkages to the Colombian sovereign, Moody's said, and their creditworthiness are linked to the credit quality of the sovereign.
