IADB launches $3 billion five-year notes at mid-swaps plus 12 bps

Knoxville, Tenn., Sept. 7 – Inter-American Development Bank (Aaa/AAA/AAA) launched $3 billion of global benchmark notes on Thursday at mid-swaps plus 12 basis points, according to a market source. The books opened in excess of $2.5 billion and closed in excess of $4.3 billion on Thursday.
The notes will mature on Sept. 14, 2022.
Previous price guidance was in the mid-swaps plus 13 bps range.
BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Nomura are bookrunners.
The notes will settle on Sept. 14.
The provider of development financing for Latin America and the Caribbean is based in Washington, D.C.
