IADB to repurchase some of its 8¼% debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., May 22 - Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) announced it will repurchase Rs. 408 million of its Rs. 1.5 billion of 8¼% debt securities due May 15, 2017.

The securities were issued in May 2007 and Rs. 777 million of the securities are currently outstanding. After this buy back, Rs. 369 million will remain.

IADB is a regional development bank in Latin America and the Caribbean.
