Fitch affirms Inter-American Development

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Inter-American Development Bank's long-term issuer default rating at AAA and short-term issuer default rating at F1+.

The outlook for the long-term issuer default rating is stable.

According to the agency, the ratings are based on support from highly rated non-borrowing shareholders, its preferred creditor status and strong capitalization.
