Intelsat gets interim access to cash collateral; final hearing June 9

Pittsburgh, May 15 – Intelsat SA obtained court approval to use the cash collateral of pre-bankruptcy collateral trustee Wilmington Trust, NA on an interim basis, according to an order filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

The final hearing is scheduled for June 9.

As previously reported, the cash collateral use is designed to provide liquidity to Intelsat during the restructuring process.

Intelsat is a Luxembourg City, Luxembourg-based satellite telecommunications company. The company filed bankruptcy on May 14 under Chapter 11 case number 20-32299.
