Intel to redeem some 4.9% notes due 2045 in August via 30-year issue

Chicago, Aug. 3 – Intel Corp. plans to redeem some of its 4.9% senior notes due 2045 in August using proceeds of a new issue of notes.

Intel plans to price senior notes due 2047, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The semiconductor chip maker is based in Santa Clara, Calif.
