S&P rates Intel notes A+

S&P said it assigned its A+ issue-level rating to Intel Corp.'s new senior unsecured notes. The company will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including refinancing of outstanding debt and share repurchases.

S&P rates the new notes the same as its long-term issuer credit rating on Intel. All the agency’s other ratings on the company are unchanged.
