Integrated Electrical asks court to postpone disclosure statement hearing to allow review time

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, March 9 - Integrated Electrical Services, Inc.'s official equity interest holders committee asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas to reschedule the hearing on approval of the company's disclosure statement for its plan of reorganization to the week of April 3 from March 10, according to a Thursday filing.

According to the motion, the equity committee, which was appointed on Wednesday, has had virtually no time to review and analyze the disclosure statement to determine whether it contains adequate information to allow equity interest holders to make an informed decision about the plan.

Integrated Electrical Services, a Houston-based provider of electrical services to the commercial, industrial and residential markets, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 14. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-30602.
