Insys Therapeutics to take part in claim analysis protocol mediation

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Oct. 23 – A mediator has been appointed for Insys Therapeutics Inc.’s Chapter 11 case to help resolve issues surrounding a claims analysis protocol, according to an order filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Eric D. Greene has been appointed as mediator.

In addition to the company, the official committee of unsecured creditors appointed for Insys’s case, as well as a multi-district litigation executive committee and representatives of some state governments will participate in the one-day mediation session.

The specialty pharmaceutical company is based in Phoenix. The company filed bankruptcy on June 10 under Chapter 11 case number 19-11292.
