S&P rates Inland Empire, Calif., COPs AAA/A-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AAA/A-1+ rating and A+ underlying rating to the Inland Empire Public Facilities Corp., Calif.'s $9.115 million of series A (tax-exempt) and $82.72 million of series B (taxable) certificates of participation (COPs) issued on behalf of San Bernadino County.

The rating reflects a letter of credit from Bank of America, NA, which is rated AA+/A-1+.

S&P also said it affirmed the A+ rating on the county's outstanding COPs.
