Several ING funds drop portfolio manager Michael Mata

San Luis Obispo, Calif., Jan. 3 - ING announced in Form 497 filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Michael Mata was removed as portfolio manager of several of its funds, effective Dec. 31.
The affected funds are as follows:
• ING Limited Maturity Bond Portfolio, a series of ING Investors Trust. Christine Hurstellers and Matthew Toms will continue as portfolio managers;
• ING U.S. Bond Index Portfolio, a series of ING Variable Portfolios, Inc. Bob Kase and Toms will continue as portfolio managers;
• ING Diversified Emerging Markets Debt Fund, a series of ING Mutual Funds. Toms and Brian Timberlake will continue as portfolio managers;
• ING Global Bond Portfolio, a series of ING Partners, Inc. Hurstellers and Timberlake will continue as portfolio managers;
• ING Global Bond Fund, a series of ING Mutual Funds. Hurstellers and Timberlake will continue as portfolio managers; and
• ING Strategic Income Fund, a series of ING Funds Trust. Hurstellers and Toms will continue as portfolio managers.
West Chester, Pa.-based Directed Services LLC is the investment adviser to the Limited Maturity Bond Portfolio and the Global Bond Portfolio. Scottsdale, Ariz.-based ING Investments LLC is the investment adviser to the remaining funds.
