Ingress to ask holders to extend maturity of RM 160 million Sukuk

By Jennifer Chiou

New York, Dec. 23 - Ingress Corp. Bhd. announced a meeting for holders of its RM 160 million Sukuk Al-Ijarah to vote to extend the maturity of the first tranche of the Sukuk to July 9, 2010 from Jan. 9.

The meeting will take place on Jan. 6.

Ingress said that the extension will enable it to finalize the restructuring plan for the Sukuk.

As previously reported, the company received a notice of default on the Sukuk in April 2008.

Ingress is a Selangor, Malaysia-based automotive component manufacturer.
