Eight ING funds drop sales charge for $1 million purchases

San Diego, Nov. 18 - The ING Equity Trust, ING Funds Trust and ING Series Fund, Inc. announced they are waiving the front-end sales charge for purchases of $1 million or more of class A shares of eight of its funds, according to a 497 filing with, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The affected funds are ING Core Equity Research Fund, ING Corporate Leaders 100 Fund, ING Small Company Fund, ING Index Plus LargeCap Fund, ING Index Plus MidCap Fund, ING Index Plus SmallCap Fund, ING Tactical Asset Allocation Fund and ING Capital Allocation Fund.

Effective July 1, shares purchased will incur a contingent deferred sales charge of 1% for redemptions made within 18 months.

Purchases of less than $1 million are still subject to the existing 5.75% maximum sales charge.

The fund's investment adviser is Scottsdale, Ariz.-based ING Investments, LLC.
