Moody's lifts ING Bank Slaski view to positive

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the A3 long-term and prime-2 short-term deposit ratings of ING Bank Slaski SA.

The agency also said it affirmed the baa3 baseline credit assessment, baa2 adjusted baseline credit assessment and the A2(cr)/prime-1(cr) counterparty risk assessment.

The outlook was changed to positive from stable.

The ratings reflect the bank's well-developed franchise in Poland with strong growth momentum and primary lending activities in corporate, retail and increasingly in consumer credits, Moody's said.

The positive outlook considers the continued strong performance of the bank and increasing diversification of its loan book into a more granular retail segment, which reduces balance sheet concentrations, the agency said.
