Fitch rates ING Bank Slaski AAA(pol)

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a national long-term rating of AAA(pol) and national short-term rating of F1+(pol) to ING Bank Slaski.

The outlook is stable.

Fitch said it assigned to Bank Slaski the highest ratings on Poland's national rating scale.

This is because the bank has one of the lowest expectations of default risk relative to other issuers or obligations in Poland, the agency explained.

The bank’s national ratings are driven by institutional support from its ultimate 75% shareholder, ING Bank NV, Fitch added.

Bank Slaski is a strategically important subsidiary for ING Bank, the agency added.
