Sandell Asset Management's representative on InfoSpace board resigns

By Lisa Kerner

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 3 - Sandell Asset Management Corp. managing director Nick Graziano resigned from the board of directors of InfoSpace, Inc. on Thursday, it was reported in a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Graziano said he was resigning because he believes InfoSpace's board and management "are very capable and have a clear strategy going forward that accurately reflects the best interests of shareholders," the filing said.

According to Graziano, it is an appropriate time to resign because the board's restructuring efforts are largely complete.
