Info Edge India plans to issue convertibles

Knoxville, Tenn., Dec. 24 - Info Edge India Ltd. informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that its board of directors approved plans to raise up to Rs. 5 billion through an issue of convertible bonds at a meeting on Dec. 21.

The company also is considering issuing Global Depositary Receipts and American Depositary Receipts.

New Delhi, India-based Info Edge provides online classifieds and certain related services.
