Inergy files $1.5 billion shelf registration covering debt securities

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 16 - Inergy LP and Inergy Finance Corp. jointly filed a $1.5 billion shelf registration in an F-9 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common units, partnership securities and debt securities.

The debt may be convertible.

Proceeds will be used for general partnership purposes.

Inergy is a Kansas City, Mo.-based energy infrastructure and distribution company.
