Moody’s revises Qatari GREs to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed to stable from negative the outlook on the Aa3 long-term issuer rating of Qatar Petroleum, the A1 long-term issuer rating of Industries Qatar QPSC and the A1 long-term issuer rating of Qatar Electricity and Water Co. QSC.

The agency also affirmed the ratings on all three government-related issuers.

At the same time, Moody's changed the outlook on the long-term issuer rating and senior unsecured bond ratings of Qatari Diar Finance QSC. to stable from negative and affirmed the Aa3 issuer and bond ratings.

The agency said the actions on the government related entities (GREs) follow the change of Qatar's sovereign outlook to stable from negative and the affirmation of its Aa3 rating.
