Fitch turns China bank view to negative

Fitch Ratings said it revised its outlook on six Chinese state banks to negative from stable and affirmed their ratings.

The revision follows a similar action on China’s sovereign rating on April 9, the agency said.

The banks are Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd., China Construction Bank Corp., Bank of China Ltd., Agricultural Bank of China Ltd., Bank of Communications Co. Ltd., and Postal Savings Bank of China Co. Ltd.
