New Issue: Indonesia's Indosat sells upsized Rp. 1.10 trillion bonds

New York, June 16 - PT Indosat Tbk said it sold an upsized offering of Rp. 1.10 trillion of conventional bonds and Shariah bonds.

Indosat issued Rp. 815 billion of conventional bonds, series Bond IV of 2005. The bonds carry a six-year tenor and are non-callable for four years. The bonds pay a 12% coupon.

The company also issued Shariah bonds for Rp. 285 billion. Those bonds will pay Rp. 8.55 billion every three months and also have a six-year tenor and are non-callable for four years.

The bond offering was increased from Rp. 1 trillion.

PT Andalan Artha Advisindo Sekuritas acted at underwriter.

The settlement date is June 17.

Indosat, based in Jakarta, is a telecommunications and information provider.

Proceeds from the sale will be used for capital expenditures.
