Indonesia's Indosat plans Rp 2.5 trillion of fixed-rate bonds, sukuk

Tacoma, Wash., April 17 - PT Indosat Tbk. plans to issue Rp 2.5 trillion of conventional bonds and sukuk, according to a news release.

The new issue will have a fixed rate and a maximum tenor of 10 years.

Proceeds will be used mainly for investments and to refinance debt.

Indosat is a telecommunications and information service provider based in Jakarta, Indonesia. It is a subsidiary of Qatar Telecom QSC, a communications company based in Doha, Qatar.
