Moody's outlook on Indonesian banks stable

Moody's Investors Service said the outlook for the Indonesian banking system remains stable, reflecting the strong domestic economy that has insulated the industry from potentially destabilizing external shocks.

"We expect the banks' positive credit attributes such as high loan growth, wide interest margins, and low provisioning costs owing to good asset quality to continue in the next 12-18 months and sustain the system's resilience," Moody's vice president and senior credit officer Beatrice Woo said in a news release.
