Indonesia taps Barclays, HSBC, Lehman for benchmark-sized sovereign

By Aaron Hochman-Zimmerman

New York, Jan. 4 - Indonesia has mandated Barclays, HSBC, Lehman Brothers to bring a benchmark-sized sovereign (Ba3/BB-/BB-), according to an informed source.

A roadshow will be held from Tuesday through Friday.

The bonds will be offered under Rule 144A and Regulation S.

The deal has been long anticipated. In November, market sources said they expected that Indonesia would bring a $2 billion deal with 10- and 30-year tranches early this year.
