Moody’s gives Baa2 to Indonesia notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Baa2 ratings to the senior unsecured U.S. dollar-denominated bonds to be sold by the government of Indonesia. The government plans to sell notes with tenors of five, 10 and 30 years.

“The rating mirrors the government of Indonesia's long-term issuer rating of Baa2 with a stable outlook,” Moody’s said in a statement.

Indonesia will use the proceeds for general budgetary purposes.
