S&P rates Indonesia notes BBB

S&P said it assigned its BBB long-term foreign-currency issue rating to Indonesia’s planned benchmark-sized U.S. dollar-denominated senior unsecured notes sale.

Indonesia’s issuer rating also is BBB. The agency affirmed the rating on April 27.

Indonesia’s government will use the proceeds for a concurrent liability management exercise and general budgetary requirements.

The outlook is stable.
