Fitch assigns Indonesia bonds BBB

Fitch Ratings said it assigned Indonesia's planned U.S. dollar- and euro-denominated bonds a BBB rating.

The rating is in line with Indonesia's BBB long-term foreign-currency issuer default rating, Fitch said.

The proceeds are intended for general budgetary purposes including to partially fund Indonesia's Covid-19 relief efforts and for the repurchase of a portion of its U.S. dollar bonds in a liability management exercise.

The outlook is stable.
