Moody’s assigns Indonesia bonds Baa2
Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned a Baa2 rating to the senior unsecured yen-denominated bonds Indonesia plans to sell.
The notes will constitute direct, unconditional and unsecured obligations of the Indonesian government and will rank pari passu among themselves and equally with all other unsecured and unsubordinated government debt.
The proceeds are intended to finance the budget deficit and for general purposes, including to partially fund Indonesia’s coronavirus-related relief and recovery efforts.
