Auction to settle Abengoa credit derivative trades set for Jan. 14

By Wendy Van Sickle

Columbus, Ohio, Jan. 7 – The auction to settle the credit derivative trades for Abengoa SA will be held on Jan. 14, according to a notice.

As previously reported, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. said in December that its EMEA Credit Derivatives Determinations Committee determined that a failure-to-pay credit event had occurred for Abengoa and that an auction would be held this month.

Abengoa, a Seville, Spain-based industrial and technology group, filed for protection under the Spanish Insolvency Law on Nov. 25.
