Moody's rates Indianapolis bonds Aa1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa1 rating and stable outlook to the Indianapolis Local Public Improvement Bond Bank's $59.655 million of bonds, series 2008A.

Concurrently, Moody's said it affirmed the Aa1 rating with a stable outlook on $348 million of outstanding debt.

Moody's also said it affirmed $101 million of outstanding debt carrying the city's moral obligation pledge.

Sale of the bonds is expected on April 29.
