Fitch affirms Indian Farmers

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd.'s national long-term rating at AA(ind) with a stable outlook.

The agency said the ratings on Indian Farmers reflect improvement in the company's financial profile, liquidity and operating efficiencies.

The agency said the ratings also continue to factor in the company's position as India's largest fertilizer producer, as well as its countrywide distribution network supported by 40,000 farmer cooperatives.
