New York, Feb. 1 - The UBS Warburg Global Convertible index lost 1.7% in January.
Among the components, European convertibles - denominated in euros - rose 0.1% while the U.S. component dropped 0.8%. The U.S. Mandatory index fell 5.0% in the month.
