American Greetings amends, extending timeframe for borrowing on term loan

New York, April 2 - American Greetings Corp. amended its credit facility, extending the period that the company can borrow on its $100 million term loan for an additional year, or until April 3, 2009, according to an 8-K filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission Wednesday.

The amendment was completed on March 28.

National City Bank is the agent on the deal.

American Greetings is a Cleveland-based designer, manufacturer and seller of greeting cards and other social expression products.
