Imperial Irrigation District, Calif., to price $250 million bonds

Springdale, Ark., July 29 - The Imperial Irrigation District in California plans to price $250 million electric system refunding revenue bonds on Thursday, a source with the issuer told Prospect News.

The district intends to sign the authorizing documents for the series 2008 bonds (Aa3) on Wednesday.

Proceeds will be used to refund $42 million in outstanding series 1998 bonds and $175 million of outstanding commercial paper notes.
