Illinois Municipal Electric Agency to sell $138.77 million power supply system revenue bonds

New York, Nov. 10 - The Illinois Municipal Electric Agency is expected to price $138.77 million of series 2010 power supply system revenue bonds, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $120.85 million of series 2010A Build America Bonds and $17.92 million of series 2010B tax-exempt bonds.

The bonds (A1/A+/A+) will be sold on a negotiated basis with J.P. Morgan Securities LLC as the senior manager. The co-managers are BMO Capital Markets, Edward Jones & Co., PNC Capital Markets LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

The maturities have not been set.

Proceeds will be used to construct new power generation facilities and acquire power supply interests.
