Southern Illinois Healthcare to convert $69 million auction-rate bonds

New York, Oct. 17 - Southern Illinois Healthcare Enterprises said Friday it plans to convert $69 million in its series 2005 revenue bonds, which are reset auction-mode securities, to a variable-rate mode.

The bonds were sold through the Illinois Finance Authority on Jan. 27, 2005.

The bonds will be converted to a daily rate mode on Nov. 5 and are subject to mandatory tender at par.
